Accessibility statement.

We want this site to work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification, or other assistive technology. This page tells you what we aim for, where we may still fall short, and how to reach us if something gets in your way.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Those guidelines are the standard for making web content easier to use for people with a wide range of disabilities. We treat them as the bar we build toward, not a box we check once.

How it's built

How the site is built.

We build with accessibility in mind from the start, not as a layer added at the end. In practice that means:

  • Semantic HTML, so the page structure makes sense to a screen reader and to the browser.
  • Keyboard navigation, so you can move through the site without a mouse.
  • A skip link at the top of every page, so you can jump straight to the main content.
  • Alt text on meaningful images, so the content is described when the image can't be seen.
  • Color contrast we check against the WCAG AA thresholds for text and key interface elements.
Ongoing work

Accessibility is ongoing.

We're honest about this: accessibility is never finished. The site changes, standards move, and some areas may still fall short of what we're aiming for. We don't claim full or guaranteed conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA. We claim that we're working toward it, we check our work, and we fix what we find. If you hit a barrier we haven't caught yet, telling us is the fastest way it gets fixed.

How to report a barrier.

If part of this site is hard to use, or you can't get to information you need, email hello@guzmanapplied.com. It comes straight to Edwin.

To help us fix it faster, it helps to include:

  • The page you were on, a link or a description.
  • What you were trying to do.
  • What went wrong, and the device, browser, or assistive technology you were using if you know it.

We respond within a few business days. If something on the site is blocking you, we'll work to get you the information another way while we fix the underlying issue.
