This notice supplements the Privacy Policy. It describes the cookies and similar technologies used on guzmanapplied.com and the third parties that may receive limited information when you load the site.

What this site does and does not set

guzmanapplied.com uses Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic, which sets first-party analytics cookies in the _ga family. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies. We do not run third-party ad networks on this site.

The site is hosted on Vercel and loads typefaces from Google Fonts. These providers may set cookies or receive limited connection information described below.

Third parties that may receive information

• Vercel (hosting + analytics). When your browser requests a page, Vercel receives your IP address, user agent, and request metadata as part of standard server logging. Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights are enabled on this site and collect aggregated, cookieless traffic data using a hashed-IP fingerprint that resets daily. Vercel describes its practices at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Google Analytics 4 (traffic measurement). The site loads the Google tag from googletagmanager.com. GA4 sets first-party cookies in the _ga family (_ga and _ga_<ID>, which expire after up to two years) and sends Google page views, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, device and browser details, and the referring URL. We use it for aggregate traffic reporting only. We do not run advertising or retargeting tags, and we do not use GA4 advertising features. Google describes its practices at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. See the next section for how to opt out.
• Google Fonts (typeface delivery). The site loads the Anton, Archivo, and Inter typefaces from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. When your browser fetches a font, Google receives your IP address and the referring URL.
• Google Calendar (scheduling, only if you click the booking link). If you click through to our scheduling link, you are interacting with Google Calendar under Google's terms and privacy policy.

We do not have business arrangements with these providers that involve selling or sharing your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How to control cookies and similar technologies

The analytics cookies are your call. Outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google Analytics is on until you decline it. Inside those regions it stays off until you accept it. Your choice is saved in this browser only, and declining also deletes any _ga cookies already set.

Change my cookie choice

You can control or block cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you delete existing cookies, block cookies from specific sites, or block all cookies entirely. Blocking all cookies may break parts of the site or other sites you use.

To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Deleting or blocking the _ga cookies in your browser settings also works, and the site functions the same without them.

You can also use a privacy-focused browser, browser extensions, or a VPN to limit the connection information shared with third-party providers.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Most modern browsers offer a Do Not Track ("DNT") setting. There is no industry consensus on how to interpret DNT signals, so we do not currently change site behavior in response to them. Because we do not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising, the practical impact is minimal.

Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a different matter. GPC is the browser signal California regulators enforce under the CPRA, and we honor it. If your browser sends a GPC signal, Google Analytics cookies stay off on this site and the cookie banner does not appear, because your browser has already answered. This site does not sell or share personal information and sets no advertising cookies, so analytics is the only thing the signal has to switch off.

Changes to this notice

If we add new third-party technologies (for example, video embeds, chat widgets, or analytics) we will update this notice and the Privacy Policy before the change takes effect. The "Effective date" and "Last updated" labels above reflect the current version.
